Software Engineering

I thrive in fast-paced work environments. After graduating from college, I worked at several YC startups including 42Floors and Gusto. I then took time off to pursue my interest in software development. I embarked on a new journey learning web and native development and taking courses in computer science fundamentals, machine learning, and image processing.

Work

I first worked at another fast-paced startup, LeadGenius on the Data Engineering team. A large portion of my responsibilities was setting up ETL pipelines and processing the millions of records of data to ensure accuracy and uniqueness.

At Credit Karma, I worked as a back end engineer working with Scala, Java, and GCP in a variety of microservices. I led cross-team projects to migrate the core content management service, which hosted ~70% of the company's revenue, to a new microservice.

Currently, I am a data engineer at Credit Karma. I work with Dataflow, Airflow, and BigQuery to set up ETL pipelines for data scientists and enterprise partners. I also work closely with data scientists to improve data quality, build features, and create tools for model building.

Interests and Side Projects

I love taking on small projects to learn new things, or just build something cool. Some of my interests lie in computer vision, graphics, and AR.

• Recently I have been working on image transformations using TensorFlow and CoreML. Check out my blog articles here and here!

• I built an Alexa Skill to control a custom set of lights. Check it out here!
